The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) commissioned the National Academies to consider whether and, if so, under what circumstances the agency should consider intentional human dosing studies conducted by third parties. The report considers relevant issues and outlines the recommendations of the Committee on the Use of Third Party Toxicity Research with Human Research Participants, which was convened for this purpose.
