Job Description
The All of Us Research Program Policy Office is seeking exceptional candidates for a Senior

(ELSI)Team.
The All of Us Research Program seeks to gather and make available health data from one
million or more individuals living in the United States to accelerate research that may improve
health, with a particular focus on populations that have been historically underrepresented in
biomedical research to help eradicate health inequities. The All of Us Policy Office is
responsible for analyzing, developing, and interpreting policy for the program and contributing to
intra- and inter-agency efforts, multi-national fora, and other collaborations that help shape
science policy nationally and internationally. Within the program, the office is charged with
ensuring the program’s compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies; developing
informed consent processes; developing program policies on such topics as data and
biospecimen governance, privacy, participant recruitment, and others; advising divisions within
the program on a variety of ELSI issues related to participant engagement, genomics, return of
results, biospecimen access, and emerging technologies; and integrating ELSI objectives into
the activities of the program.
Candidates should possess knowledge–either through previous employment or course of study
leading to an advanced degree– ELSI and policy issues relevant to biomedical research and
professional or extensive academic experience interpreting, integrating, and applying topical
information. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a strong research and analytical
background, meticulous attention to detail, the capacity to work in a fast-paced and inclusive
work environment, experience in convening and coordinating multidisciplinary working groups,
and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate
effectively with a variety of audiences.
Interested candidates should email [email protected] with their resume or curriculum
vitae, or with any questions about the position.
