The results of a randomized trial by Donovan and colleagues suggest that "humane genomics education"—a curricular intervention that goes beyond basic, Mendelian genetics to tackle complex genomic concepts—result in less belief in genetic essentialism and support a scientifically accurate understanding of race as a social construction.
