Description

Description

Wick and colleagues recommend that university openness in research policies explicitly recognize tribal rights to self-determination and research sovereignty and be developed in consultation with Indigenous governments and advisors. This, combined with training of researchers and staff, will improve coordination and ensure that universities support the inclusion of Indigenous communities in research that could benefit them.
