ELSI Journal Club | May

ELSI Journal Clubs are free, online discussions of innovative research exploring the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of clinical genetics, newly published by our journal partner, Genetics in Medicine. Each event begins with a brief introduction to the featured article and its relevance, followed by group dialogue led by an expert discussant. Participants are encouraged to read the featured article in advance to fully engage in the conversation. Trainee participation is welcome.

We will be holding our next ELSI Journal Club on May 30th at 12PM EST. The featured article will be “Parents’ Perceptions of the Utility of Genetic Testing in the NICU“ and will feature corresponding author, Katharine Callahan, MD, MSME, and discussant Jessica Hunter, PhD. A PDF of the journal article will be provided to registrants ahead of the event.
