New: Publication Opportunities

CERA has expanded our partnership with The American Journal of Bioethics (AJOB) and entered new partnerships with Genetics in Medicine (GiM) and The American Journal of Human Genetics (AJHG) to offer ELSI Journal Club sessions, facilitate the production of new ELSI research, and disseminate ELSI findings to key audiences. As a result of these partnerships, we are able to offer the following open and upcoming publication opportunities:

• Now accepting: Target article proposals related to the topic of ELSI Friday Forum seminars every month for publication in AJOB. Submit by June 13, 2025 for proposals related to the epigenetics session. Find submission guidelines here.
• Now accepting: Proposals for letters to the editor that respond to ELSI Journal Club featured articles for publication in GiM. To propose a response to the next featured article email 1-3 sentences that describe your perspective to Deanne Dolan [email protected] by June 16, 2025.
• Coming soon: Accepting open peer commentary proposals that respond to target articles in the 6^th ELSI Congress AJOB special issue for publication in AJOB. Look for an upcoming announcement from CERA with submission instructions.
• Coming this fall: Accepting proposals for review or commentary manuscripts for publication in GiM or GiM Open. Look for an upcoming announcement from CERA with submission instructions.
