The ELSI Virtual Forum, held online in June 2020, presented eight of the talks planned for the 2020 ELSI Congress, canceled due to the pandemic. The biennial ELSI Congress provides a dedicated, regularly scheduled meeting for researchers focused on the ethical, legal, and social implications of genetic and genomic research and its translation into clinical care. ELSI Congress is organized by the Division of Ethics at Columbia University and the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics with support from the National Human Genome Research Institute.
